Chatters and Blabbers
All 5th grade students will be participating in a public speaking program called Chatters and Blabbers.  This trimester, the fifth graders will be telling a children's story giving them the opportunity to practice speaking to a group without having to write an original speech.  Your child will bring home papers the week before he/she will speak.  When your child is assigned to give their formal presentation, or their blabber speech< please have your child hare his/her speech with you. It is an excellent way for them to practice before sharing in front of our class. I look forward to hearing all of the creative presentations.
