This is my second year at Nixon Academy and I'm very excited to be back!

After earning my teaching credential, I moved to Northern California where I taught 6th grade for three years.  My first year was in Eureka Union School District and then I moved to Rocklin Unified School District.  After moving back to Southern California in 2009, I taught 2nd grade at Mary Bragg Elementary here in ABC Unified School District during the 2009-2010 school year.  I am very happy to be continuing my teaching career, in 5th grade, here at Nixon Academy.  

I expect my students to:

  • be respectful, kind, and helpful to others
  • be responsible for their work and come to class prepared
  • be active listeners and participants in class
  • become problem solvers
  • have a wonderful 5th grade year by making good choices inside and outside the classroom
